Since July 2015, any out of school club that is registered with Ofsted on the Early Years Register or the Childcare Register must meet the requirements of the Home Office Prevent Duty.
The Prevent Duty for OSCs pack helps out of school clubs to meet the requirements of the Prevent Duty by explaining exactly what you need to do, and by providing templates for the key documents you will need, such as the Prevent Duty risk assessment and No platform policy. It also shares loads of ideas for promoting the four 'British values' within an out of school club setting, and includes a useful multi-faith calendar. The Prevent Duty for OSCs pack also contains editable anti-radicalisation posters and parent information leaflets.
The Prevent Duty for OSCs pack is delivered via a download link so that you can start using its contents immediately. The template documents are supplied in Microsoft Word and Powerpoint format so that you can easily modify them as needed for your own setting. If you are unsure whether you have the necessary software to edit these types of documents, find out more about software compatibility.
