The all new OOSA Academy is where school aged childcare providers can access a collection of hand-picked, specialist online and live training courses and CPD all in one place.
Visit www.oosaacademy.co.uk where both members and non-members now have access to courses and training across three tiers of engagement:
- induction level courses from our Emerging Practice stream. Providers can create their own induction bundles for new staff, or just have a taster of a new topic
- sessions for those who have some experience but want to develop their knowledge or skills in our Enhancing Practice stream
- training courses and programmes for ambitious practitioners wanting to master their practice in our Expert Practice stream
OOSA Academy contains a wide range of topics from childcare business, inclusive practice, behaviour, mental health, HR, legal issues, playwork, practical activities, working with parents, safeguarding, Ofsted preparation, quality improvement and many, many more!
It’s a developing range and some courses are still in development, but there will be something for everyone at each level of practice.
FREE STUFF TOO!
OOSA Academy will include access to free content!! Each term we will host an OOSA Briefing to update on a topic of interest including safeguarding, Ofsted, business issues and inclusion.
These briefings are all included in the membership subscription and will be recorded so members can encourage their whole team to watch. Three whole team training events are now included in the OOSA membership and accessed via OOSA Academy!
HOW IT IS PRICED
Members will not have to pay any more to access the OOSA Briefings, OOSA Forum and the other free content available from our training partners. You will be getting more from your subscription than ever before. There will be non-member pricing for all training and courses and OOSA members are eligible for discounted prices.
For those who wish to purchase additional courses and content for your team or yourself, OOSA Academy will be on a ‘pay as you go’ model. There will be a range of pricing reflecting the content of the session you’re purchasing. As ever we aim to keep the pricing as accessible as possible, but it is our partners who set the pricing for their content.
We don’t believe that you should have to pay for what you don’t need. We want you to be able to plan and choose training and CPD that your staff will enjoy, value and use to develop practice, so you only buy what you need as you go along…. simple!
We have plans to introduce extra functionality to the Academy for managers and owners with large staff teams, but we want to make sure we get the basics right first so we aren't passing those development costs on to our membership. Best value is important to us!
HOW TO ACCESS
