Moss Hall Play Centre has been established for more than 30 years and provides after school care to primary school age (aged 4 to 11 years old) children.  Moss Hall Playcentre has an ethos of free play where children are allowed to express themselves freely but within set boundaries and rules, and decide how to spend their time there. 

Due to an increase in capacity and staff changes we are looking to recruit to a number of posts. 

The successful candidates will be passionate about working with children and moulding their development, and be enthusiastic and reliable members of a team. All the posts require the person to complete an enhanced DBS.  Successful candidates will be expected to keep up with the necessary training required for their role.

The playcentre is operated out of Moss Hall Infants & Junior School, Moss Hall Grove: N12 8PE.

Early Years (EYFS) Playworker

We are looking for a play worker with experience in an Early Years environment and with the ability to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage, and experience of using the EYFS framework to provide a stimulating and safe environment for young children.  The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate with children of a young age , as well as be able to communicate with parents and other play workers and operate as part of a team.

Hours: 15.00 – 18.00, 5 days per week, term time only

Salary: competitive, based on experience
