Burton Out of School Club wish to provide an opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated candidate to become part of our out-of-school club team. The post holder will be required primarily to work weekday mornings (7.30/7.45 – 9.00am) and one evening (between 3.00/3.15 and 6.00pm), with the opportunity to work more. The post is term-time, however, there will also be holiday club work available in selected school holidays.
You will be supervising children between 4 and 11 years old and ensuring their safety at all times. Duties will also include planning, delivering, and setting up a range of stimulating activities and engaging children in play; preparing breakfast/snacks; meeting and greeting parents and providing them with feedback on their child/children.
Qualifications and Skills: Good communication skills, flexibility at work and ability to work as part of a team are essential. Candidate must be enthusiastic about and committed to providing good quality childcare. They must also have a commitment to equal opportunities
Previous experience within a childcare setting and/or qualifications in Playwork is advantageous but not essential. Full induction and training will be offered to the correct candidates. Pay Rate is based upon Responsibilities and Qualifications with opportunities to progress.
