We are looking for a reliable, organised, fun, dynamic, enthusiastic person to manage our Before & After School Club.
PSC operates out of a school offering parents/carers support both before school 7.30am - 9am & after school 3.30pm - 6pm.
Duties will include creating and providing a stimulating and inclusive environment for the children to develop socially and emotionally as individuals and within groups. Working with the EYFS framework for the reception aged children to provide individual support and learning opportunities. Developing daily plans. Meeting children from school, liaising closely with teachers, site manager and parents, serving snacks and cleaning up at the end of each session.
At PSC we provide positive, fun and learning opportunities for up to 20 children each session. Our philosophy enables children the freedom to grow and develop the necessary life skills for school and adult life and provide activities that enable them to learn in their own way and in their own time. We have a variety of stimulating resources to suit and support all children.
Applicants must share our passion for being active and outdoors with the children.
The relevant person MUST hold the following:
- Fully Enhanced DBS
- Paediatric First Aid Training
- At least 2 years experience within this field
- Safeguarding & Child Protection (up to date)
- Food handling training
- Minimum of a level 3 qualification in childcare/play work or equivalent (Desirable)
- Has management and leadership experience
- Holds a clean driving license
You will be supported in the role through training and continued professional development.
