Come and work for Kidszone - an Ofsted Outstanding Afterschool and Holiday Care organisation based in Withington, South Manchester.

We need a Playworker to plan and facilitate play opportunities for children aged 3 to 11 years. You will be someone who is willing to muck in and get their hands dirty but understands the playwork principles of letting the children lead any activity.

You will ideally be qualified to level 3 in playwork or similar, you will have worked previously with children in a play based setting and are looking for your next challenge. If you also have experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage and special educational needs then we are particularly keen to hear from you.

At Kidszone you will be an important part of a friendly team, your ideas and input will be valued and you will have the opportunity to develop your skills further through a mix of on the job training and study towards further qualifications.

Hours are 17.5 hrs per week with the potential for overtime during holiday care periods.

Kidszone provides an afterschool club for St Pauls Primary School, Withington during term time and a holiday care provision for any primary school aged children during school holidays (except Christmas).
