We are a well established out of school club which is looking for a deputy manager to fill the position from the 4th January as our deputy leaves for a career change.
This position is for term time only and operates from 7:30 – 9:00am and 3:00 – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. The contract is for 26 hours per week, but we are happy to negotiate a different schedule for the right candidate.
This role attracts an hourly rate of £13.50 - £15.00.

The main duties include playing with children; taking daily responsibility for the smooth running of the setting; maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, hygiene and well-being for both children and staff; communicating effectively with the school, staff, children and parents; and administration duties such as scheduling, planning, ordering and record-keeping.
The manager will also assume the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead, the qualification for which will be supported internally.

The successful candidate will be: energetic and enthusiastic with a professional and engaging manner; an organised team player, able to work seamlessly with the Directors and the school; have experience in childcare and/or education with proven skills in engaging and motivating children. The candidate must also hold a childcare or education qualification.
