The role of the Lead Playworker is to manage and deliver successful breakfast, out of school and holiday club provision from both an operational and childcare perspective. Delivery of the highest standards of welfare and education to all children is paramount as well as managing the smooth running of any given site. Specifically the role will deliver excellent outcomes in line with the 5 “Strategic Priorities” for all Jesters' sites and families.
Key accountabilities
● Ensure that all children attending Jesters receive rich, stimulating and fun play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
● To develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and carers.
● To meet and exceed the requirements of all statutory, regulatory and accreditation frameworks
● To ensure that safeguarding, H&S, and GDPR are at the forefront of all working practices
● To deliver excellent budgetary management of Kids Club finances, and to ensure the premises are well maintained and welcoming.
● To meet salestargets and promote the service through a variety of means especially social media
● To work in close partnership with the Head of Childcare, the Head of Education and the Nursery Managers to lead and grow the service towards best practice.
● To work withNursery Managers to achieve relevant Key Performance Indicators
● To be an advocate and champion for Jesters
● To be a champion of and deliver play that supports equality and diversity
● To ensure high standards of health, hygiene and infection control are actively maintained across the board
